As your therapist, I aim to help you reveal, rebuild, recover, and renew. I take a personalized approach based on your unique needs to help you navigate difficult situations, work through loss and grief, stabilize and manage mental health challenges, gently uncover trauma, address patterns contributing to relational and emotional difficulties, and break cycles of destructive behavior so that you can find a sense of security, resolve your pain, and lessen its control over your life.
Over the course of 10 years as a photographer, I traveled the world; Europe, Asia, the North Pacific, and the Middle East, finding friendship, wisdom, and beauty in unexpected places. I discovered the best parts of myself and others by getting lost, making mistakes, facing my own brokenness, and making art from dark places.
My personal and professional experiences have taught me that it is through experiencing brokenness that we become our most resilient. Those years of travel taught me how universal pain and hope are, and how deeply people long to be seen and understood. My experiences, both traveling and through my own healing journey, give me a unique perspective to empathize with and guide clients from varied backgrounds, deepening the therapeutic relationship and allowing me to provide meaningful support.
As an attachment-focused therapist, I believe that the therapeutic relationship has the ability to heal the mind. Sharing and experiencing your truth in a safe, unconditionally accepting environment can profoundly alter the course of your life, giving the painful and broken parts of you new meaning.
